Baba Lal Dyal Ji Maharaj
Shri Bawa Lal ji incarnated in the village of ‘Kasur’ near Lahore, Punjab. His father was Shri Bohlamal Ji and mother was Krishna Devi Ji.
Satguru Baba Lal Dayal Ji, who has become a center of faith for countless people both in India and abroad, was born in the year 1355 AD, on the second day of the waxing phase of the month of Magh, in the town of Kasur, located in Lahore, to Patwari Bholamal Ji’s household.
The child, Lal Dayal Ji, inherited spiritual qualities from his mother, Krishna Devi Ji. Even in his childhood, he had a divine radiance on his face, which prompted his parents to call a learned astrologer.
The astrologer predicted that this child was no ordinary one but would achieve liberation through spirituality and guide future generations towards salvation. The astrologer’s prediction came true. This child went on to be honored with titles such as Param Siddha (Supreme Adept), Param Tapasvi (Supreme Ascetic), Gyani (Wise One), Yogi Raj (King of Yogis), and Paramahansa (Supreme Swan). Through his yogic powers, he attained a long life of 300 years. It is believed that every 100 years, he would assume a youthful form through his yogic powers. Impressed by his radiance and wisdom, Dara Shikoh, the son of the Mughal ruler, also became his disciple.
