A substantial snowfall graced the upper hills as a result of a western disturbance affecting northern India. This rare phenomenon left the people of the Kandi region astounded. The snowfall commenced at 11 am, showering the area with small, cotton-like particles descending from the sky.
Initially, the residents were bewildered, taking a moment to comprehend the situation. Within a matter of minutes, the Shivalik hills’ peaks were adorned with layers of glistening white snow. The transformation happened swiftly, creating a breathtaking and picturesque spectacle. The inhabitants of Kandi seized the opportunity to relish this unique experience, with children gleefully engaging in snow play. Many captured this ephemeral beauty on their mobile devices, aiming to preserve this memory for a lifetime. The snow accumulation reached approximately 5 to 6 inches on the hilltops.
The entire landscape, including the hills and trees, was enrobed in a pristine white blanket of snow. By around 3 pm, the snowfall subsided, revealing the serene aftermath.
